History

Even if Teksor Oy has started as an engineering company in 1969 our history goes back to 1950’s to a company called Heiko Oy, which specialized in precision mechanics and produced e.g. Kalevala jewelry.

In 1970’s HVAC products represented the majority in our production and the company’s name was changed to LVI-Varuste Oy.

In 1985 Olavi Kukkonen bought the company, and he still is the chairman of the board. Soon after this the company started to produce threaded stainless steel pipe fitting and it also started the determined development of subcontracting services. The name of the company was changed to Teksor OY. The first cnc -lathe was bought 1987 and the company also moved to new bigger premises in Vuosaari shipyard area. In 2002 Inspecta Oy granted an ISO 901:2000 certificate to our quality system and certified that our production meets PED 97/23/CE requirements . Teksor Oy moved to its own new premises in Vantaa 2004.

A generation change has taken place in the company and Jukka Kukkonen has been the managing director of the company since 2001.
